What is a Playspace?

Founded in 1990, our Playspace Program is based on the belief that play is essential for child development. Our Playspace Program ensures that each child living in a homeless shelter in Massachusetts has the opportunity for developmentally appropriate play. Read more.


What is a PAL?

PALs, or Playspace Activity Leaders, are members of the community who contribute two hours a week leading age-appropriate activities with children in homeless shelters. Join 1,500 volunteers who play with homeless children in family shelters. To learn about being a PAL, click here.
