On October 3, Horizons for Homeless Children's Executive Director Sue Heilman was presented with an Alumnae/i Achievement Award from her alma mater, Wheaton College in Norton, MA. She was honored for her work with homeless children and families and for inspiring many other Wheaton graduates to follow her in the call to service. "You restore hope to some of our most vulnerable young people," her citation reads, "by helping them discover that the world has endless possibilities - and more importantly, that they do too." |
