TV Diner host Billy Costa and producer Jenny Johnson will soon visit the children at Horizons for Homeless Children's Community Children's Center in Roxbury. There they will serve lunch to, and spend time with preschoolers. Following time in the classroom, they will present a check for over $35,000 to Horizons for Homeless Children, all of which was raised at the auction of NECN's Platinum Plate Gala. This event is to celebrate the partnership of Comcast SportsNet / NECN and Horizons for Homeless Children and the success of the Gala in raising much needed funds and awareness for homeless children and their families.
