The Foundation to be Named Later continued their support of HHC with their annual Hot Stove Cool Music event during the weekend of January 15. The event included a Sports Roundtable with Red Sox Manager Theo Epstein, a benefit concert featuring popular local bands and a luncheon honoring several HHC families.
The luncheon, held at the Community Children's Center in Roxbury garnered support from leading Boston chefs who were on-site to prepare some signature dishes. Peter Gammons joined former Red Sox pitchers Bronson Arroyo and Lenny DiNardo, Glee actor Mike O'Malley and others in serving, chatting with and posing for pictures with families. Representatives from Walmart were also on hand to present $100,000 to Horizons for Homeless Children as part of the Associate Choice Program.
