Help HHC win $ 10,000 worth of IKEA furniture
for statewide Playspaces!

Horizons for Homeless Children (HHC) is delighted you are joining us through the IKEA Life Improvement Project, to learn more about the work that we do for homeless children and their families all across the state of Massachusetts. Because of the support of companies like IKEA, we provide opportunities for learning and growth for young homeless children each day and parent support services for their families.

We rely on your support and we hope that you will contemplate voting for Horizons for Homeless Children through the IKEA Life Improvement Project. Between January 6 and 20, text LIFE74 to 62345 to vote for HHC, one of three finalists in this competition. With enough votes, HHC could win $ 10,000 in IKEA furniture and materials, to be used across our statewide network of over 140 Playspaces!

What is a Playspace?
A Playspace is an age-appropriate, "kid-friendly" space within a family homeless shelter that comes equipped with toys, books, building blocks, art supplies and more - the all-important tools to challenge children physically and creatively and allow them to have a place to play during their time in shelter. The program recruits, trains, and places volunteers in the shelter Playspaces to supervise and engage the children in fun, educational play so that they can grow and develop, as all children should.

So, remember to text your vote once a day between January 6 and 20 and get all of your friends and family to vote too! Text LIFE74 to 62345. If we win, it will be because of you, and thousands of homeless children in Massachusetts will receive brand new IKEA furniture and materials in their Playspaces!

Visit IKEA for more information and terms and conditions. Standard text messaging rates do apply.

What do we do here at HHC?
The mission of Horizons for Homeless Children is to improve the lives of homeless children and their families. We provide homeless children in Massachusetts with the nurturing, stimulation and opportunities for early education and play that all children need to learn and grow in healthy ways. To improve the lives of the children we serve over the long term, we connect their parents with the tools they need to achieve social and economic self-sufficiency. We provide leadership in advocating for homeless children and their families through leveraging and sharing our expertise with others and advocating with policy makers and the public. Learn more>
