Joshua Girard, Rockland, MA Josh has run a number of half-marathons and 5k's, but this will be his first full marathon. He currently works as an Environmental and Safety Officer at Harvard University. As the father of two young children, Josh is inspired by the work of Horizons for Homeless Children and is happy to be raising money for and spreading the word about HHC's programs. Rachel King, Sudbury, MA Rachel will be running her first marathon and is absolutely thrilled to be supporting Horizons for Homeless Children. While at Boston College, Rachel volunteered at an Allston preschool as well as a drop-in center for homeless youth in Harvard Square and now she is thrilled to be able to help the children of HHC. After graduating from BC, Rachel spent a year traveling in Australia and is now back in Massachusetts working as a Film Editor for Evolution Media. Steven Schmitt, Boston, MA Steven is an account executive at Yahoo! in Boston and was involved in a BIMA (Boston Interactive Media Association) event co-sponsored by Yahoo! in the fall of 2009 that raised money for Horizons for Homeless Children. Since then, Steven has worked closely with Yahoo! and HHC staff to develop a lasting partnership between the two entities. This will be Steven's first marathon! Support Steven's fundraising efforts>>

Evelyn Sheahan, Cambridge, MA Boston 2010 will be Evelyn's first marathon! She has been volunteering with Horizons for Homeless Children as a Playspace Activity Leader (PAL) for the past year. Evelyn first became curious about marathons as an enthusiastic supporter of friends and family members completing the San Francisco, Seattle and Dublin Marathons. Fundraising for HHC by running the Boston Marathon is the opportunity of a lifetime.

Steven Ustaris, Allston, MA Steve is a VP of Agency Relationships and Business Development at OwnerIQ, a digital advertising network in Boston. He is also a member of the executive committee of BIMA (Boston Interactive Media Association), which held an event in the fall that raised money for Horizons for Homeless Children. Steve has worked with international agencies that provide aid to children around the world, and is glad to have the opportunity to fundraise for an organization that is making a difference right here at home.
