July 5, 2007: The staff and Board of Directors of Horizons for Homeless Children mourn the loss of esteemed Board member and longtime supporter, John R. Svenson who passed away from cancer on June 30, 2007. John was extremely generous and thoughtful and cared deeply about the homeless children and families we serve. He was held in the highest respect by his peers on Horizons for Homeless Children's Board of Directors and he will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
